ALOHA!!!!
Well the Hawaii trip is sadly over! No more Wegan, It's Megan here and Whit will add in some comments too to create a 'Wegan-esque' post as best as we can. Unfortunately we didn't get anytime to do a proper blog post together (sorrryyy). The 2 weeks just FLEW by, and of course we tried to cherish every moment and therefore tried to not go on the internet a lot! Needless to say we had an absolutely AMAZING time together!!! Each time I go to Hawaii we have the BEST time in different ways so it's hard for any trip to out do the other, but my oh my this trip came pretty close to doing so! Here are the highlights of our 2 weeks together back as Wegan:

Beach Trips:

Photobucket

I must admit, we sure do LOVE spending time at the beach soaking up the rays. So the majority of days went in the format of waking up, throwing a bikini & beach dress on (which for those who know me, know it's very opposite how I get ready at home lol), grabbing an iced starbucks (cinnamon latte for me!! ♥), then head to the beach and lie out for a few hours. We then decide we're hungry & off we go for some yummy food (Wegan loves to eat)!

Hot Tub Time:

Photobucket

Whit's new place has pools & hot tubs (oOOoOoh yes!!) so we enjoyed frequenting these (who wouldn't?!). My fav memory of doing such is my second night there when we took champagne with us to the hot tub & drank it whilst watching the sunset together ♥

Palmtrees & Sunsets:

Photobucket

I absolutely love the sight of palm trees, and even more witnessing sunsets is one of my favourite things to do (& when combined= AMAZING!). I just love them so much, the way the sun goes down & changes the sky as it does so just fascinates me every time. Needless to say I always whip out my camera! (Whit kept reminding me to just sit there & enjoy it haha) but I just love to capture moments like these!

Wegan & The Wholphin:

Photobucket

YAY we finally went to the Sealife Park!!! I've wanted to go every time that I've been to Hawaii, & we drive pass it all the time. I was SOOOO excited!!! (If you don't know, I LOVE animals! hehe). Luckily we ended up getting a great deal due to kama aina (discount for locals), only $30 for the both of us! STEAL!! It was such a good day, the sun was shinning & the animals were beyond cute! I find it rather funny that they feed the sea turtles broccoli & cabbage, like this is something they could get in the wild?!

Photobucket

My favourite part was watching the dolphin show (though half of me hates big animals being cooped up), but it was amazing to see such clever creatures and the tricks they can do. The best part was seeing the worlds only Wholphin- that being a hybrid between a dolphin & whale!! (& it's all a natural accident, cute!!) We also got 'Wegan' drawn in Hawaii style which we LOVE! The guy asked if we were sisters as we had joined our names, so we informed him that well obviously NO we are girlfriends. He sweetly added hearts which is very nice, as you never know how peeps may react! I have it in my flat in Cardiff (still deciding where to put it), & then it will be part of our flat when Whit moves over next year (CAN'T WAIT!!!)

Sunset Dinner Cruise:

Photobucket

This was without doubt the highlight of our trip and also one of, if not the, most amazing nights of our lives! (We also got a GREAT deal with this!) There are different levels to the cruise and we booked the five star cruise, which meant we got the top deck and top service! When we arrived to the boat they were Hawaiian dancers and music to greet those boarding the cruise.

We were then escorted to the top deck, had our picture with the captain & were handed Bellini’s (Whitneys fav) and yummy canapés. Next we were seated inside at our table and had the first of our cocktails. Whit had a lava flow & I had a chi chi (Hawaiian version of pina colada) it was the BEST cocktail I have ever had. So coconuty and YUMMY! Once everyone was boarded the ship went out into the ocean just in time to watch the most stunning sunset with the perfect view. Even though we had been given our first course (out of a French cuisine 7 courses), we went outside to watch the sunset from the deck. It was beyond beautiful! We went back inside and started our scrumptious dinner, being a vegetarian they surprised me with producing as great meals as the meat eaters had (lobster to the joy of Whit)! As the sunset continued, the sky turned the most vivid colours of pink and orange. We raced outside to watch it again, this could not be missed! The pictures really say it all! We had an absolutely lovely and romantic evening, accompanied by a pianist all night and a jazz singer as the trip came towards the end.

North Shore Road Trip:

Photobucket

Every time I’m in Hawaii we’ve always made a road trip to the North Shore to spend a day there. It’s about an hour or so of a drive, & there’s lots of great scenery to accompany it. My favourite is when the ‘china mans hat’ island comes into view (you can see it on ’50 first dates’!)

As per usual we head to the same beach and have some great sunbathing times. Afterwards we eat at our fave Thai restaurant. The food is just phenomenal. Sooo yummy! We have paipia salad with tofu pad thai & vegetarian spring rolls. (I’m hungry just thinking about it, told you we like food hehe!) The service there isn’t all that great, but the food more than makes up for it.

Differing from the normal route, we returned driving passed the pineapple farms which I had never seen before. It was interesting to see, even if I had to glimpse it through the car window! Quite funny to see pine trees in Hawaii as well (they’re imported to help the pineppleas grow). In that car journey we witnessed another subliminal sunset over the mountains (as I said, I sure do loooove sunsets!)

Hanauma Bay:

Photobucket

As our days grew to an end we re-visited Hanauma Bay, which never tires of looking beautiful! I love being in the reef as the water is so calm (I get scared easily with currents & waves), and also means you can watch all the cute little (& some BIG) fishes! It makes me thankful I’m a vegetarian, & makes Whitney hungry haha, she loves her some sea food!

'Baby On Board!':

Lastly I thought I’d include this funny phrase we incorporated this trip. As we call each other ‘baby’, one day Whitney exclaimed ‘BABY ON BOARD!’ like the car stickers parents have and then it stuck for the rest of the trip. Whitney joked that she’d take me to her class at university & put me with the other babies hahaha. Whit also joked when departing that she’d go tell the pilot that baby is on board so he best be extra careful! HA!

So that's pretty much the highlights of our trip. Only downers were being VERY sick AND losing my camera on a night out, nooooo I lost my baby!!!

One highlight that I left out as it goes without saying is spending time together!!! Even just watching TV (Dexter this trip) & snuggling up in bed is the best thing for us to do. We just enjoy being in each others companies, & never ever get sick of one another... & of course... kisses!!! <3

PSSST. How cute are these pets that live with Whit?!

Whitney's Romantic Round Up:

Photobucket

Whitney here! Oh my lanta, Wegan were finally reunited and it was truly amazing!!!! We had a fantastic time, as we managed to even grow closer and more in love, if that is possible.

Anytime Megan visits it seems like she is meant to be here and it amazes me how well she can just fit right into my life and jive with it. Life is great having my Megan here with me... I don't have a care of worry in the world. It seemed like we were together forever and that the dreadful departure day would never come. We made the best of our time and did some pretty awesome things (which you listed and described oh so well baby).

There is not a doubt in my mind that I have found my soul mate, lover, best friend, partner and all of the above, as I fall more and more in love with Megan every single day. This last visit the reconfirmed HOW much I love you and HOW we are meant to be ♥ Only 32 more days in counting until Wegan are reunited UK style! We brought it 2010 together and I am happy to say that we will be bringing in 2011 side by side! ♥ Eeeeee! I miss my baby dearly and not a second goes by that I am not thinking of her.

Photobucket

Also, I have found that once we are reunited it i like we were never apart. We pick right back up where left off and then some..it's a beautiful thing. My heart still races when she walks into a room and I have never felt so in love as I do today. She makes me want to be the best person I possibly can be and I admire her so much. I find myself being at this subliminal level of happiness when Meg visits and I was lucky to have JUST experienced that. I miss her greatly.

Photobucket

On a random note I am finding the more and more we are together we somehow manage to mold into the same person as our name 'Wegan' indicates that, but really..we match ALL the time and we always share clothes, bags, accesorries, etc and this concoction just makes us look quie a lot alike. People ask if we are sister and it's pretty hilarious! Kissing Sisters we are! ;) I love being a lesbian! ♥
