Wohoo! I bring your the first proper instalment of literally what Wegan did next, you've had a sneak peak into what we got up to this past month- but now you can be true Weganers (Wegan followers.. yeah I know you totes want a badge) & be fully updated.

This post re-caps our first week together, which was spent in Windsor (my home town... don't stalk) & Brighton.

The weekend that Whitney we arrived we took it easy, with my mother making Whitney a special prawn pasta dish & celebrating with some champagne.

Our first pictures together:

Our first proper outing was to Windsor where we were a bit touristy and took pictures of Windsor castle and met up with my bestie Karen.

Yes Windsor castle is also where the Queen lives (& is the most inhabited castle), also apparently her favourite residence (take that Buckingham Palace). If the Royal Standard flag is up at the castle, it means she's at home :)

There is also the Long Walk which goes from the castle for 2.64 miles and reaches a statue at the end (you see it in A Week with Marilyn). It's also where we had a  little photoshoot:

(We so good at jumping)

Later that week we took a trip to Brighton to visit my little sister (where she is studying).  This was Whitney's first proper experience of Brighton (she went via it to Amsterdam when she was studying in London).

We were greeted by a gorgeous sunset over the sea

That is the old pier (West Pier) which burnt down in Brighton.  We then headed to the current Brighton Pier- Palace Pier.

It was absolutely freezing and crazily windy that day (Whitney thought she was going to die) so we only visited it briefly, but it is where you can get hot drinks, candy floss (cotton candy), fresh doughnuts (which we had- yum!) as well as play in the arcade, or go on a ride.

To get out of the cold we sought out this fab cupcake cafe, just look at it- how cute is it?! & the cakes were DELICIOUS!! We definitely recommend going to Cloud 9 though there isn't much seating.

To continue our food indulgence (why stop there?) we went to Food for Friends, a vegetarian restaurant and I had the most yummy stuffed portobello mushrooms.  I've just read that it's Brighton original vegetarian restaurant. Again we recommend going here!

We also had a fun night out in Brighton, well I say 'out' but we only went to my sisters favourite local bar but still it was great fun & we had yummy drinks!

Geek Chic ;)

The next day we went to another veggie place for food called the Mad Hatter (& appropriately themed), & again the food was YUMMY!! Again, we recommend ;)

So all in all, a great first week together- plus the news that I got a job! (The first couple of days have gone well!)

Hope you enjoyed our first update and come back to hear what we got up to in London!
