Wegan Merch!!

So.. we sell t-shirts!

Whether you want to show that you're Team Wegan, how much you love us (we hope) or that you believe love is greater than distance, we've got the t-shirt for you! (& if we haven't then.. sorry.. woops! But comment what you would like and you never know what the future holds!)

We filmed a video with my sister Bethany and it turned into a bit of mayhem... I was working with amateurs I tell you!! Haha. See for yourself...

We have 4 designs and we're wearing women's fit, size large. However please note that we can accommodate larger sizes so feel free to order a t-shirt and in the comments add whether you would like it in a unisex v-neck and what size :) We're also working on getting you some tank tops!

We personally get these made just for you AND we post them to you as well... yes our hands folded the t-shirt :) You may even receive a little note ;) All we're saying is... look our for a pink package and you know your Wegan Merch has arrived!

If I haven't convinced you yet or if you can't decide on a t-shirt, then maybe these photo's will help...

Girl On Girl Documentary- Raising Femme Visibility!

You may have heard of the documentary 'Girl on Girl' which is exploring a subject very dear to my own heart- of femme invisibility! One of the reasons of starting this blog was to help raise the visibility of femme lesbians, as well as of course running the Femme Visibility campaign and blogging about it for the Huffington Post. Now Jodi Savitz is taking it one step further and I applaud her for that. Lauren Russell from the Real L word (who also took part in our femme visibilty) and fellow Huffington Post blogger Jincey Lumpkin are just a few in the cast.. and hopefully Wegan will make an appearance too! But to get this documentary off the ground, funds are needed. Take it away, press release!

Girl on Girl: an original documentary about lesbian visibility to launch
$100,000 Indiegogo Campaign to fund first phase of production!

After garnering over 12,000 fans on Facebook, Girl on Girl director, Jodi Savitz, is reaching out to the public for support. Beginning October 2nd, Savitz
will launch a 35-day crowdfunding campaign on the popular fundraising site, Indiegogo, with the goal of raising $100,000 to fund the first phase of production. So far, Girl on Girl has proven its worth through its growing international fan base, and its sponsorship from New York Foundation
for the Arts (NYFA) and Curve Magazine.
Unlike any documentary film to date, Girl on Girl focuses its lens on the lives of feminine
lesbians, and invites the audience to discover what life is like for women whose identity is
incessantly trivialized and stigmatized, both outside of and within queer spaces. Girl on Girl challenges assumptions of what society imagines a lesbian to look like and, for the first time, addresses the issue of feminine lesbians feeling invisible even after coming out.
The independently produced film features such ‘celesbians’ as Lauren Bedford Russell (The Real L Word: Season 3) and Huffington Post columnist and award-winning lesbian porn producer, Jincey Lumpkin (, along with several other women from around the country, including New York, Florida, Utah, and North Carolina.
The campaign will go live on the morning of October 2nd. The goal is to spread the direct link to the Indiegogo campaign via social media outlets and blogs.
