Today marks National Coming Out Day and we would like thank all of the brave LGBTQ indidviduals out there who have taken the plunge to come out and be true to who you are. It's never an easy thing to do and can often be the hardest thing one will go through in their life.  However we know from experience that it does get better.

Our 2015 Anniversaries!

We're not quite sure where the time has gone, but on Monday 28th September 2015, we reached our 3 year Civil Partnership anniversary!

As it fell on a Monday, we started celebration on Saturday 26th September at Coworth Park (where we went last year). It's such a beautiful venue with wild flowers, and the house champagne served is Veuve Clicquot. How very Wegan! We had wonderful Veuve champagne cocktails.

That evening we went to dinner at Windsor Grill, which serves superb food and in particular steaks and burgers (yay for Whitney). It has a lovely cost vibe and we always get great service there and they bought us a complimentary champagne cocktail for our anniversary! They also are very accommodating to vegetarians and made me a roasted vegetable tart, which was not on the menu- thank you! We ended the evening at home with more Veuve Clicquot!

So, on our actual anniversary we headed back to Danesfield House- as we do every year! This time we had dinner there in a lovely opulent intimate setting. The bar tender remembered us and couldn't believe it's been 3 years since we had our wedding reception there! Neither can we!!

On 5th October 2015 we also reached 7 years!! We met at the young age of 20 & 21, and now we're nearly 30! It's crazy how fast time has flown by, but we couldn't imagine life without each other, side by side. It won't be too long before our little family of two + kitten will expand!...

We celebrated by attending a new vegetarian fine dining restaurant in Staines, called WGT. They're based in China... and now Staines! Which is near us, so yay for us! The vibe and decor in the restaurant is tranquil and beautiful. It was great to be seeing a menu where I could eat EVERYTHING and it all looked so tasty! It didn't let us down, as it tasted amazing but healthy. We will definitely be back!
