Weekly What Wegan Did Next: #2

Well helllloooo! Wegan here, bit later than last week but we had our anniversary to celebrate. So without further ado, here's what we got up to in our 2nd week.

So as we said before, our first week was spring break and therefore 'holiday' time for Wegan. It was now down to 'work' time with Whit attending school/ doing homework and Megan working on her dissertation.

For the beginning of the week we therefore did nothing exciting but it was just great knowing we had each other to go home to and snuggle up. It's also great to miss each other for a few hours instead of weeks!

We went to Starbucks together to 'study', which we found rather cute as it's always something Whitney does but now we could do it together. (& Megan made the hilarious mistake of saying she was 'working' at Starbucks and got a congratulatory txt from her father, erm no dad- that's illegal on my visa!)

We enjoy going to more Hawaiian themed places rather than the general places where you could be anywhere. We find that grocery shopping is just so expensive here and so admittedly we eat out alot (in the UK we mainly cook for ourselves). We went to Teddys (Megan's first time) and we enjoyed it.. a lot! Right now we are just loving burgers & fries.. I Know- how healthy?! (Megan's a vegetarian FYI).

Even though it's pretty artificial, we absolutely loved the theme at Jimmy Buffets with the lit up palm trees, cave themed booths, lava flow floor and changing video displays of the beach's and sunsets etc on the wall.

We also went to Wahoo tacos and had yummy burritos. This is a random little fact but Megan loves a place even more by the way the restroom looks (I know, pretty funny- but I like the way thought has gone into continuing the theme). So we congratulate Wahoo Tacos with their surf chick theme.

Aloha Liquid- We're loving cocktails lately (in a non-alcoholic way of course)... especially when it's Happy Hour! It's just the perfect end to a day of sunbathing with a Lava Flow for Whitney and a Mai Tai for Megan. We're not beer drinkers but we tried a beer at the place we frequent the post- Kona Brewing Company. It was actually quite tasty!

We also get a yummy starbucks every day and we love the Starbucks peeps that work there as they're always SO friendly.

In decorating our room and making it as homely and Weganfied as possible, we have decided we like to always have flowers as it just makes the room super pretty.
