Well clearly we failed miserably to bring you weekly updates towards our last month in Hawaii. SORRY!!! Life just got too busy with there being 4 of us, and also being back in Holiday mode taking Lauren & Harry everywhere. Needless to say we had little time for computer action! We definitely made use of our last few weeks in Hawaii by revisiting all our favourite places one final time.
So here's What Wegan Did Next from 9th May-1st June 2011.
Lauren & Harry had their first experience if Sushi... & liked it!
Whitney & I looked at more engagement rings to get an idea of what we like, but also I was secretly looking for a temporary engagement ring ;)
We also took Lauren & Harry to the beach 'Cockroah cove'
This little cutie that run past us and stole Megan's heart... SO CUTE!!!!
Megan went with Whitney to her University whilst she finished her thesis & handed it in- YAY go baby!!! (She got an A by the way, that's my girl!)
We visited Waimanalo beach, pre-engagement, where Whitney had no clue she would be returning here to become engaged next time!
This was also the day we found out her visa had been unsuccessful to the UK :( :(
We all took a trip to Ala Moana mall, which is the day Harry was sent on a secret mission and I bought Whitney's Hawaiian engagement ring.
Later that day we went for Mexican food with all the University of Hawaii girls that studied abroad in London with Whitney in 2008.
We took another trip to the stunning Hanauma bay, where very excitingly Lauren & Harry spotted two sea turtles whilst we were sunbathing, so he rushed out to get us in and it was amazing being so close to them!
We went to Lani Kai with our friends Kevin, Ghen & Ryan, where we enjoyed some booze, sunbathing and volleyball.
We did a mahhossive hike up Koko Head (where Whitney had once been airlifted off when she injured her knee...)
We took Lauren & Harry on our usual trip to the North Shore, stoppingto get coconut and fresh fruit, to see the China Mans hat and the Macadamia Nut farm.
Afterwards we sunbathed for a bit and went to our favourite Thai restaurant. We stumbled across an amazing musical family where they played us a little concert. We were blown away! Visit the Ron Artis youtube page to check them out.
Unfortunately we lost all the rest of our pictures as I had not uploaded them before it got stolen on our camping trip.... Pictures from the Sunset cruise were also lost :(
In our last week in Hawaii we moved to stay with our lovely friends that we had made in the complex.
We didn't get up to much as we were so busy moving and doing our appeal letter for the visa. We did however go out for a very yummy greek dinner with the people we were staying with.
We visited the beach for one last time...
& that was it. Goodbye Hawaii! Thank you for all the memories.
