On our recent trip to America we teamed up with Hertz for some epic wheels as we cruised the mountains and deserts of Palm Springs, California to the tropical beaches and mountains of Maui and Oahu. Here's a round up from our road trips and the snazzy rides we had.
PALM SPRINGS
We picked up our first car in Palm Springs, which was a spacious Ford Edge which was able to carry all of our bags (two girls traveling, ya know). It was also such a smooth ride and made us getting around in Palm Springs all the more fun.
MAUI
When we arrived in Maui, Hawaii, we went to pick up our second set of wheels. As we are Gold Plus Rewards Members (which is free by the way) when we arrived at Hertz it was super easy to find our car. We didn't even have to go inside, our name and the allotment for where our car was located was on a board outside. To our surprise it was a beautiful fully loaded 2018 Cadillac Escalade as it turns out that Gold Members can also receive complimentary upgrades. Yasss! We felt like Oprah cruising around the island. It definitely had more than enough room for all of our bags (!) and navigated the windy roads perfectly.
OAHU
Our last stop with our Hertz adventure was the Hawaiian island Oahu, where we had a beautiful white 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. It was the dream set of wheels to cruise around Oahu to explore the stunning scenery and beaches. Also, how fun are the Hawaiian licence plates?!
