Gay Rights Roundup

Hello my lovelies!

It is now officially December and I am back in the UK trying adjust back to English life. Haven’t got time to do any proper posts at the moment but do not fear we have a great line up for the next couple of weeks!

For now I thought I’d do a quick gay rights round up…

1) LGBT Nigerians- ‘We Are Not Illegal’

Firstly, and most importanly, please sign this petition.

“Nigeria is pushing forward a law that would make it a punishable offense – of up to 14-years in prison – for anybody to go to a gay bar, to work for or be involved with LGBT organizations, or to be in an openly gay relationship”

The petition needs to reach 50, 000 signatures by Monday so please sign it ASAP and then share it with your friends!

Two Lesbians Raised A Baby & This Is What They Got

Zach Wahls, a 19-year-old University of Iowa student spoke about the strength of his family during a public forum on House Joint Resolution 6 in the Iowa House of Representatives. Wahls has two mothers, and came to oppose House Joint Resolution 6 which would end civil unions in Iowa.

Can we adopt him please?? haha.
