Thought it was about time I gave you a little insight into what we've been up to minus trying to figure out how to see each other next!
Megan's Update:
It was Cardiff Mardi Gras the first weekend of September, so I had fun working on the stall & meeting all the many different types of gays the world has to offer!
The following week was just consumed with work *yawn*, though I was rewarded with a weekend in Haverfordwest visiting my bestie Speedy there! She's a Doctor there, so I had a fun night out with a bunch of medics (& had far too many shots haha). The next day we had a lovely time at a spa, testing out the different saunas & steam rooms. Weirdly enough I rather enjoyed the ice room- basically rubbing ice onto your skin! The salt room was the least rewarding one so we didn't stay in there long. We also had a yummy lunch out followed by a night in with X Factor & Bride Wars. Perfecto!
Speeds is an amazing baker by the way, so we were treated to yummy cupcakes & 'eton mess'.
On the Sunday we went to the nearest little villages, went for a walk along the coast & saw some beautiful beaches. I'm practically in Hawaii.. right?
This is who's been keeping me company:
Only two more days at work then I'm heading home to see the family, & meet my sister's new boyfriend! I'm sure he Will impress ;) Here's hoping!
Whitney's Update:
Whit's been very busy with school, which involves staring up at the stars & looking at Jupiter moon. Sounds like I went to the wrong Uni ;) Whit's been taking basking in gorgeous the weather that Hawaii has to offer by frequenting the beautiful beaches near her (& making me cry inside!... & perhaps you too!!)
Not working this term, Whit has been able to take full advantage of the weekends and getting her socialising on. She has even made a new lesbian friend so that's pretty 'neato' (those are Whit's words, not mine haha).
I have mentioned Whitney's lack of love for cats in our profile description, so how unfair is it that she has ended up living with three cats?!! Where's the justice in that :p She has however finally felt the love for a feline, Rex (who I immediately nicknamed Rexy Wexy.. as I do with all my pets- Benny Wenny, Splodgey Wodgey for example.. I'm not crazy. Honest. K perhaps a little...) Anyhoo he's the cutest thing ever & I can't wait to meet him. He'll probably sadly be a full grown cat by the time I do!! :(
